Henry Robertson is an account executive and content creator based out of SLC.

He works for MATTIO Communications, the leading PR firm for cannabis companies and ancillary businesses, where he transitioned from a content lead to an account executive. In his current role, he’s responsible for securing strategic media placements, including print, TV and podcasts, and guiding brand strategy for some of the biggest players in the cannabis ecosystem. He helps supervise the top performing team in the agency, delegates tasks, writes and edits content, and helps clients win awards and secure high-impact speaking opps that elevate their profile and position them for long-term success.

Before joining MATTIO, he spent most of his career in journalism. He was a writer and editor at Popular Mechanics and Marie Claire and did freelance projects on the side for publications including the Washington Post, Entrepreneur, Esquire and Women’s Health.

Also, Henry is an accomplished guitarist with more than 20 years of shredding under his belt. A self-described “tone snob,” he can talk your ear off for hours about his intricate pedal board setup. Before moving to SLC two years ago, he lived in Brooklyn and played lead guitar in the bands More Tongues Than Teeth and Toshio, and now out in SLC, he’s playing lead guitar for Soul Fang.

Henry’s other passions include exploring the great outdoors (skiing, hiking, biking and paddle boarding), reading, and being the world’s greatest cat dad.
